What is neurolanguage coaching®?
Neurolanguage coaching® is a unique method of teaching a foreign language developed by Rachel Marie Paling. It is based on a fast and efficient transfer of knowledge and language skills in a coach-coachee relation. Besides, NLcoaching uses the natural brain capacity, proven learning methods as well as the coachee’s full potential and language resources thus providing immediate and long-term effects.
One of the factors that contributes to the effectiveness of the method is a relation between the coach and the coachee, the relation which is characterized by complete partnership, mutual trust and achieving language goals set by the coachee. The role of the coach is to support the client in accomplishing the target by creating a brain friendly environment and adjusting the learning process to the client’s needs and capacity, developing the areas which require improvement and enhancing the assets. During sessions the coach efficiently uses client’s language resources, works on authentic materials which are significant and relevant for the coachee so as to fully engage the brain in the learning process.
Language sessions are 100% based on a friendly conversation during which due to powerful questions asked by the coach, the client is able to come up with different language solutions by themselves. The coach, who is a foreign language expert, accompanies the client on their way to explore the language, helping them to understand grammar issues, to expand vocabulary through various mnemonic techniques and building associations. All of the process happens in a brain friendly atmosphere thus decreasing a stress level to minimum.
